Week 1, Sunday Evening; Barnham

[ There's been a lot to mull over, with the Sheriff's arrival and those two girls now in jail, a lot of information to take in. Which, for a bracer and an instructor, isn't impossible for Sara, but there was a difference between learning a curriculum or the details of a mission or job request and...

This.

A game where they were being encouraged to kill each other. It's a sick game, definitely, but she's a little more concerned about how the younger ones are handling it-- and just how many of their number have killed before.

For now, she just sighs into her beer mug-- her third, but there's really no point in stopping now. Her mind is still, unfortunately, clear enough.

The saloon's fairly quiet for now, and that's all she needs. ]
moraled: (Why does it hurt when I try to kill it?!)

... There is no need for that.

[He waves a hand, and shifts to get some water to pour into a bowl for Constantine.]

Most importantly of all, we must find a way to prevent any needless bloodshed. Can I count on your assistance in that?
moraled: (classic foot soldiers)

... It is more than simply watching out for our own skins, Lady Instructor.

[Though he suspects she knows that, even as he nods thanks for her fetching the bowl.]

It is the others I am far more concerned about.
moraled: (knitting is a kind of bondage)

Precisely. I shall look forward to your cooperation and support, then.

[THANKS, SARA]
moraled: (this is a high quality couch)

[Usually he just deals with the aftermath, but he'll deal with it.]

Indeed. I fear that should one murder be committed... it shall be much easier for future crimes to be committed as well.

I fear that given enough death, this place will truly dissolve into lawlessness.
moraled: (Don't suck it you're supposed to blow)

[personal profile] moraled 2017-01-22 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Certainly not if I am capable of preventing it. However, I acknowledge that I am only one man.
moraled: (everyone knows the earth is flat)

[personal profile] moraled 2017-01-23 05:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I would not presume to expect others to wish to assist me in this.
moraled: (the food giver is trapped!)

[personal profile] moraled 2017-01-25 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
... Certainly, I recall that you would not allow anything less.

However, as for the others--well, there is a great deal of work to be done there.
moraled: (Many emotional conflicts here)

[...]

Those who I do have faith in are not ones I would wish to burden further.

You have already made it perfectly clear that you are capable.

So yes--I do believe you are a dependable person who could handle that stress and burden. Am I wrong?
moraled: (one of us one of us...)

[personal profile] moraled 2017-01-25 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I believed you to be someone focused on the well-being of others.

[He nods, satisfied.]

I am pleased to see that was not wrong.
moraled: (at the stake still?)

[personal profile] moraled 2017-01-26 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
Are you embarrassed?

[HE'S KIND OF AMUSED...]
